I am Stefania Quintajè, an independent legal advisor with over 20 years of experience working with multinational companies, technology startups, and in-house legal teams across EMEA and beyond.
I have led legal departments, supported General Counsel, and stepped in as an alternative legal solution when companies needed senior expertise without a permanent hire. What connects all of it is a practical, business-first approach to law — one that helps organisations move forward, not just stay compliant.
My legal career started in Italy, working in-house for multinational companies at a time when the relationship between law, technology, and business was just beginning to reshape entire industries. I learned early that the most useful thing a lawyer can do is understand what the business is actually trying to achieve — and then find the clearest, most practical path to get there.
FROM INSIDE OUT
Over the years, that approach took me across borders. I built experience working on EMEA-wide projects from Switzerland, advising companies operating across multiple jurisdictions simultaneously — each with its own regulatory framework, its own commercial culture, its own legal language. I became fluent in more than one sense of the word.
I have led legal departments, acted as interim General Counsel, and worked alongside in-house teams as a senior external resource. I have advised startups finding their footing and established multinationals navigating transformation. The sectors have varied — technology, healthcare, retail, and more — but the questions are often the same: how do we grow, how do we protect what we have built, and how do we do it across borders without losing speed?
The Legal Sybil is the expression of everything I have learned doing that work. Independent, experienced, and built around one idea: that good legal advice should read the future, not just manage the present.
How I work
I work as an independent advisor, which means my clients get direct access to senior expertise — not a junior associate with a partner occasionally in the room. Every engagement is handled personally.
I adapt to what each situation needs. Sometimes that means acting as ongoing external counsel, advising on specific transactions or regulatory questions as they arise. Sometimes it means stepping into a company as an interim legal lead — running the legal function, managing external counsel, and working alongside the executive team as a full member of the organisation, for as long as needed.
I work in Italian, English, Spanish and French, with good knowledge also fo German and Portuguese.
